I could only watch the very beginning of the game up till the first goal from the leafs, and I thought they weren’t playing too bad 😅 what a bummer seeing the final score and finding out that they benched eklund 🙃
i think firing quinn has to be on the table once the season ends, the coaching staff on the cuda too. complete reset with the coaching staffs this offseason.
if the sharks go 0-fer on this road trip, hasso plattner may be flying into town on the next homestand
Demidov's contract has 1 year after this, but it seems slightly more promising than the Michkov situation since he's represented by Dan Milstein who has indicated he's very much looking forward to coming over to the US after his current contract.

Chicago is only 5 points ahead of the Sharks. A coaching change won't matter. The Sharks need new young players. Get the #1 pick. Its time for the Scouts to Shine. What does Greer do with the dead salaries? We haven't had Couture all year either.
The CBA is killing some teams. Contracts are too long. Players can't perform at a high level on the backend of the contracts.
Watched the whole game. Damn this team needs Celebrini badly. Brighter days are on the horizon

The tankathon in full swing. Let's lose 12 more, otherwise we can watch the 1-2 punch of Bedard-Celebrini lift multiple cups like we watched Toews-Kane do. Why do we need a win? What does one win do for confidence if we're just gonna lose the next 12 again? Let's just get Eiserman or Celebrini and then we can go to phase 2 of the rebuild and start building some confidence.

I get trying to help some of these guys trade value but eklund is the only player on the roster that’s part of the future. Benching him to watch Mike Hoffman and duclair just skate around like theyre in warm ups isn’t the answer. Especially since we are going to lose anyways
Duclair caused another offside by not being able to exit the offensive zone quickly enough as Granlund was stealing back the puck. Duclair has lost his speed and must be traded or he will continue to put his team offside. More bad penalties led to power play of Toronto unleashing its scorers pushing Kahkonen out. The team needs a major catalyst and maybe return of Logan Couture could make a difference in confidence and special teams performance. Sharks must play smarter and tougher hockey than they have already demonstrated this first half of season. Underdogs can win in hockey late into the season due to puck luck, bad penalties, and whims of the hockey gods. This 12 game losing streak will probably end at 15 or 16 games, so it ain't over and Sharks have not yet hit bottom.
