I'm glad the pathetic toronto media doesn't talk about us. All it would do is invent drama and add the odd uneducated fan (like every leaf fan) which we don't need
That's the Toronto factor. Advertisers only care about Southern Ontario, so TSN and Sportsnet make it national news when Austen Matthews gets a pimple on his ass, but show virtually no interest in any of the other Canadian teams. Which is why I love it when the Bruins eliminate them in the first round all the time. Once Toronto is gone those 'sports journalists' actually have to do some work and report on someone other than the Make Beliefs.

Jets still need a little grit, (Big Bird) Logan Stanley should be traded for a tougher player. Try and get the player Big Bird was meant to be.
Goaltending is key here. Finally we have a solid game plan, and a defensive strategy
Jets are a different team this year playing team defence you can tell iafallo,villardi,Namestnikov,Nino,kupari want to be here or at least earn next contract.
Scheifele is looking like changed player.
Hellebuyck is being normal vezina caliber.
As far as prospects
There's rumors jets might be in on Lindholm or maybe they target another big players like a dman.
We have stockpiled prospects and only a few can make NHL roster.
If they can make a deal fora guy signed long term and give up lesser prospects/1 of Lucius,Lambert,Chibrikov and keep Barlow,Mcgroarty,Salomonsson I think Chevy should do it.

Where does a Mcgroarty ect fit? 3rd line with Lowry if Iafallo leaves?

I think our prospects are all worth hanging onto. If we need to trade for a rental, I would prefer draft capital. Then pray to the hockey gods it's not a Kevin Hayes, is a Paul Stastney type. lol. Rentals can bite you in the asshat. I guess that's why I'm not a GM anywhere.
