Jacob Trouba stepped up on Teddy Blueger and made heavy impact at the blue line. It doesn’t look like much but these are the ones that sting. Never mind that Trouba abandoned his post on a 3 on 2 to force this hit, completely opening up the lane for Petterson to score.
It’s a clsssic Trouba step up, lean out, and explode type hit. The timing happens to work out on this one and he avoids the head.

He’s Trouba, so the league won’t suspend him, anyway. They don’t suspect players in the markets that actually make money.
But yeah, clearly elevates his body to aim his shoulder for the head.
If he laid him out it probably would have been called interference, being a bit late, too.
Clean.
Clean hit
Nuttin wrong there, go canucks
Totally clean but costs his team a goal 'Dion Phaneuf-style' by getting way out of position trying to lay a meaningless hit.
2.5 Troubas out of 5. He left his feet a bit, went high, aimed at the head, but didn't have as much momentum as he usual does when he goes to injure another player.
