Good for him. It was horrible to see what people were saying about Hayes’ brother.
For context since a certain Philly reporter who was called a weasel by Jakub Voracek reported a source told him that Kevin Hayes influenced Cutter Gauthier to demand a trade. It led to death threats from several Flyer fans directed at the two. Tortorella I credit for sticking up for Hayes, they didn’t get along but thr Philly media has made a simple trade into a nightmare.
Can someone please explain further or link article? I’m ignorant. I’m aware of the cutter trade. I’m just not aware of anything involving Hayes and why the hc had to stick up for him
Torts and Popovich have that same personality. Need more coaches and players who call out clickbait news items like that.

The most irritating thing about that reporter to me is when Tortorella was asking if he was there how he responds like there was nothing wrong about what he reported and probably knowing what Hayes has been receiving lately. That guy shouldn’t be allowed back there again at all and props to Torts for calling that shit out.
