Yeah, this next stretch of games is gonna be brutal. Lightning, panthers and bruins all on the road for the next 3 games. Get a bit of a break after that with the habs and jackets but then it’s Avs, Canes, Knights, Stars and Lightning again right after that (in no order). If we can stay in a wildcard spot after that with our current roster it’s a miracle. Gonna be an ugly few weeks

I don’t hate the top 6 given what we have to work with. Shelter that 4th line and if all 5 skaters actually play smart, sound defense there’s really no reason we can’t beat a struggling Tampa team. Essentially a 4pt game tonight since Tampa is still in the WC hunt. If the team can just stay above .500 until Meier and Jack return I think we’ll be ok.
If goaltending could miraculously play better I would be thrilled, but that might be expecting too much.

Fitz is definitely declining those calls for McLeod at this point.
That 4th line makes my eyes bleed but what can ya do. I just hope the top 6 shows up today, gonna be a tough win, even harder on Sat so these 2 points matter big time.

With this lineup we have to play solid structured defense-first hockey. It is the only way we’re going to hope to survive and try to squeeze at least 3 points out of this road trip.
