Ditching Laine was a good start, but unfortunately they got a similar self-centered coaster in return. Now that PLD, and to some extent Wheeler, is gone, they have been able to work as a true unit and it shows.

Gary Bettman will take out The Jets goalie Helly or Vancouvers Demko . To make sure Canada does not win the cup but it goes beyond that and not necessarily the go with the goaltending . But a key player that is heavily relied on and cannot be replaced . Anyhow things change come playoff time . But as long as the Nhl and its cronies set their game up . There will not be a cup coming to Canada . That's the facts . Edmonton and Toronto the NHL has them where they want atm . You know their weaknesses . The JETS and Nuckleheads . those two are the ones that Gary is going to have a hard time figuring out on how to screw them over .

IN: Massive depth upgrade (Vilardi, Iafallo, Namestnikov, Niederreiter), Morrissey breakout from last year, renewed locker room where everyone wants to win, and a coach who holds players accountable and says what is needed to be said and not what people want to hear.
This is why Im actually expecting good things from the Jets unlike other years where I couldnt jump on fully.

Not that I'm an expert at strategy but it sounds almost exactly like what the canucks are doing this season. I really haven't watched any Jet this season, but I'm expecting some great games when they meet this year.

Dubois was / is a psychological cancer… his removal no doubt was integral to the team's improvement. Not all on him, but I sure as hell wouldn't want him as a teammate influencing anyone else's play.
