I missed getting the 3 Stars, and most of the game, but I liked what I saw tonight!
Good to see Kyrou and hopefully Buchnevich shake off whatever funk they are in. Buchy breaking the stick was interesting and probably did it for a reason that we’ll never know. Binner was solid as always against a shooting gallery.

I guess Buch potentially felt frustrated that it took an empty net to break his goal drought. Him breaking his stick was probably a mixture of “finally, a fucking goal” and wishing he had made more of his opportunities while there was a goalie in front of it. Probably gave away a stick for frightening the audience in that section? Lol.
Kyrou was beaming after that hatty, even after he took a spill on that goal attempt late in the third. Almost looked like he was laughing as he got up. Glad to see the power play tighten up so starkly. That really seemed to put wind in our sails all night. I’ll remember this game for a long time. Bannister has my vote so far.
