Pretty cool to see. He clocked in at 24.21 mph, beating out Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point, who reached 24.15 mph Also says he has the third-highest max shot speed among all NHL forwards this season (99.97 mph at the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 12).

Now we just need him to have top 5 aim with that slapper

This was at the end of overtime after he had been going all night. Imagine that with all the energy at the start of the game.

Hoping he keeps getting better because he is starting to look like he could be a stud.

Damn, I knew he was absolutely flying but wouldn’t have guessed this. What a beast. Is it wrong to think that if/when they can add a few more high-end offensive pieces Tippett could be a possible 40 goal guy?

  5. he’s almost hitting the speed limit of a car in my neighborhood!

  6. I asked ChatGPT what that means:

Skating at a speed of 24.21 mph is relatively fast. To provide a comparison, the average speed of a person walking is around 3-4 mph, while running speeds can range from 5 to 12 mph for most individuals. Cycling speeds can vary, but a moderate cycling speed is typically around 12-16 mph.

Therefore, someone skating at 24.21 mph would be moving significantly faster than a person walking, running, or cycling at moderate speeds. Skating at this speed suggests a high level of skill and athleticism.

I feel like Tippett hasn’t even reached his peak yet, he’s got another gear!
