The 2023/24 Vancouver Canucks are the only team since the 1984/85 Edmonton Oilers to score this many goals in their first 30 games of the season. And first team to have a quartet of players (Pettersson, JT Miller, Hughes, Boeser) in NHL history to score 25 points each in their first 23 games of the season even surpassing the 1984/85 Edmonton Oilers. That year 84/85 the Oilers went on to win the Stanley Cup. You can certainly see the similarities between both teams. Pettersson {Gretzky}, JT Miller {Messier}, Hughes {Coffey}, Hronek {Huddy}, Boeser {Kurri}, Demko {Fuhr/Moog}.

I haven't been that excited since 2011. This team is something else. Not sure I've seen a Canucks team like this before. I've was bitter about the Horvat trade and now I am like Kesser who? Demko looks legit. Forwards go balls deep. This may be the year!
