You can't steal what Benning and the Canucks failed to recognize the importance of keeping. The simple story is, Benning had a flat cap and 6 players to resign, 2 made the cut and 4 went East… 1 to the Habs benefit.

A headline mentioning how the Canuck's trash is the Habs treasure, with the content focusing on the possible reasons Vancouver didn't attempt to retain Toffoli, and how great a return he gives the Habs for 4.2 million, would have been great.
