  1. In the Bet365 Top 5 AJ mentioned Harvard and players going to free agency more often. That's a school where a degree is the greatest non-hockey achievement of a person's life.

If MIT or CalTech had historical and good hockey programs, I'd bet you'd see the same trend. That's min-maxing your lifetime opportunities by staying at Harvard of all places.

  2. Hey man reem on Nate Schmidt as you please, although he’s been good recently. But Dylan demelo has been one of the better defensive dmen in the league for years and has been good in the playoffs several times before

  3. For having the 2nd easiest schedule in the NHL to this point, some avs fans really think their shit don’t stink. lol

  4. I think until they can prove theyre gonna be good into the playoffs they can't be contenders. Last year they collapsed as the games got tougher near and after the all star break and carried that into the playoffs and got easily dealt with. Until they can prove they arent going to do the same thing, I'm not worried

  5. You guys sure you really want to win the division as you just said @ 55:20 ? How did that work out for the Avs against wildcard Seattle last year? Losing in 7 to a team that shouldn't have even been in the playoffs 2nd year in the league. Ps: Jets won 8th straight again tonight and are like 12-0-2 lately…😢… we should be concerned

  6. So if the Jets continue to Saxophone Squirtle, look it up, the League, and, AND, the Pens fall, Chevy goes all-in and sends a package that includes Rutger McGority to the Pens for Sidney Crosby, and then Sid the Kid brings a cup to Canada, for the Winnipeg Jets. Could happen.

  7. I’d say Gabe being back mid march should be the goal if possible, gotta get game exp and not be in a situation where going too hard could be disastrous. There’s no reinjuring and coming back. And a slow steady strength and stability recovery is the only shot. Honestly my best guess would be for no game play this season at all. It takes so much time to get connective tissue/joints strong and stable and to be mostly sure of sustaining in game impact is going to take so so long. Like maybe starting 6-9 months out after being on skates. Could take over a year of skating. I’d say take it slower than slow and do it 100% right for an optimal 5-7 year finish to a career… so maybe this time next year… if it was an acl/mcl it could be this year. But it was Reconstructive cartilage if I recall… so so long.
Edit: just looked into it.. the timeline is a few months to no impact activities like biking. 1 year for light impact and 18-24 months for full impact mobility etc. so ya, maybe he’ll be good for start of next season but could be limited play for most of next season. Hope we’re all shocked and he’s doing backflips in the playoffs this year tho fosho haha
