  1. If the Lotto line was intact from the beginning of the season Petey would be leading the league in scoring with Millsy and Boes right behind him AND the Nucks would be first overall by a big margin!

  2. Donā€™t trade away the future for one run. Itā€™s a multiple year runs, not a one and done. Iā€™d trade for Sean Monahan or a Sean Walker.

  3. I agree with Frank here. Too early to go all in with this group especially given their outstanding contracts. Add some nice defensive depth to reward the team a bit but giving up someone like Willander or Lekkerimaki seems crazy right now.

  4. i usually don't disagree with frank but i think the 2nd line is soft and the achilles heal of the canuck lineup. mikheyev and suter are languishing with kuzmenko on this line. guentzel would be a perfect fit. there's interest for kuzmenko and he is the guy to move.

  5. I agree with Frank, makes no sense to blow out your future with one kick at the can. Adding a Dman like Seeler would make a lot of sense and not break the bank. Any success the Canucks are going to have is predicated on how well they can lock down their structural system by playoff time. As of yet they are not a contender for that reason, but can be by the end of the season. The players they have are more than capable, but can they execute their strong structural play when the games get tight and the goals hard to come by. They are not there yet.

  6. "Are you going to win the Cup this year? Probably not" Frank, 31 teams are not going to win the cup. I have a hard time believing that the Canucks will ever be in a better position than they are now over the next few years. To me as long as the Canucks are in the same position when the deadline hits then they should swing for the fences.

The Hurricanes model clearly does has not worked. Even the year they won the cup it was because Cam Ward when on a heater. Why can't Demko do the same this year?

  7. Wilander is not in play come on guys but is Lekkermaki ? I really hope not thats a very Benning type move.

PS remember the off season when we had way too many wingers ? maybe they over did it the cutting off the fat I mean.
