  1. Most impressive with Joshua Roy is he and Gignac basically have no true Right Winger to complete their duo since Belzile got traded and Dubé let go of.
Dubé who now leads in goal scoring the top line of AHL's leading team (by so far it's not even funny, they have a higher probability of making it all the way to the PO final than for Laval to even make it to the post-season)
Letting go of him might've been the Habs/Rocket management most regrettable move, could've been easily extended on the cheap, he's an energetic right winger Harvey-Bedard type who can actually score well enough and has some NHL projectibility too.

  2. Beck is also a smart kid, high hockey IQ, reallllly good on the faceoffs, he's 6' 195 pounds. He's gonna have a good future with the Habs as a 2 way forward. Him and Wawa are the 2 with the highest chance to crack the Habs lineups short term.

  3. Junkie, frankly I can't wait for this delicious stew to keep simmering and we we dish out the bowls to the big club A'La Struble. I know Habs fans want it NOW but for the first time since 1993, this is a real rebuild not patching holes and hoping for the best. What is really cool is I don't remember a time when Habs fans have been patient with what Hughes is bringing to the table. He is putting on an absolute clinic. Cole, Nick locked up 8 years cap friendly. Finding former first-rounders with the penny on the dollar Newhook, Darche(Christ stay healthy), and Monahan. We have a surplus of D-men be it Vet's, proven young guns, highly regarded prospects. We also got goalies a high-regard rookie, a coming into his own (He a keeper) Monty and a proven Jake Allen. 24 picks in the next 2 years! including 3 firsts! Hughes is going to be going full-out bombshell. If he is so patient so should we be. In Hughes we trust. The Cup, no…Cups are a coming!

  4. I was at this game, it was painful to watch the spits get beat this badly, but awesome to see a future hab tear it up

  5. They could beat the current Habs team, well maybe not but they they sure would out work them. MSL is a dud who doesn't know how to motivate his team to put out maximum effort day in and day out.

  6. Is Lane Hudson for real???
Do you think we will see Logan and Jack-eye dancing on the HAbs blueline to close out the season?

  7. To heck with minors. Bring em all up to the big leagues. These guys are all miles ahead of our every night lineup of fat hosers. Habs are really getting hard to watch lately.
