Love how people take one clickbait article and run with it. It makes 0 sense for the ducks unless you're getting a scoring RW or big shutdown D. Verbeek said they need more scoring so why trade a guy that produces offensively.
Considering that the ducks have $8 million in cabs space, I like the idea of trading Josh Anderson, Harris, someone like Sean Farrell, and a second round pick. There's no way I'm giving up on Josh Wawa, who has size and grit and is a local boy.

I dont see ducks making that trade. Anderson feels redundant with players like Henrique, Strome, Killorn, etc filling a fairly similar role. Roy is still a gamble without any NHL experience to show evidence his game will translate. And an average D prospect does little to spice the pot with so many D in our pipeline and most of our top 6 is currently under 23. Zegras is having a rough year with a lot of injury issues but he's still got potential as a point per game player. Verbeek wants a young versatile team, so I would imagine he'd want a more concrete prospect or a high pick.
Like you said, you have to give something to get something. None of the assets coming back to the Ducks would be worth it.
Id give our first this year and Harris for him

not gonna trade right after signing him, in the middle of his worst season, while injured, for a defenseman… his value is at an all time low and this trade makes no sense on the ducks side. however, I could see him being dealt in the off season.

Im sorry, but if that 1st round pick is going to anaheim, then roy is not. Farrell could, but that is way too much for zegras. Especially since anderson has already been requested about for a 1st round pick on his own last season.

If the ducks win the lottery I think he gets traded, if not then they will probably draft the best winger available or maybe best defenseman because they have Carlson, Mctavish, Nathan Gaucher, and lundestrom. And for defense they have zellweger, mintyukov, and Luneau.
