So Skinner's going to be stuck, he'll have to make a Ray bourque move if he wants a chance at a cup before his contract ends in 2027
He'll be 35 years old with no contract – he'll have to wave is no movement clause or sign one of those dreaded rental veteran 35+ contracts if he wants a chance at a cup or to play after 35.

That's got to be frustrating and a waste of talent. But he's getting $9 million per year, so that could ease the pain.
