Yet somehow there is no hearing, no fine, no suspension in the actual league… I'm actually serious when i say this, it seems like the red wings NEVER get players suspended for dirty plays on them. NHL DoPS still on holiday bingers i guess…
Agree on the suspension rec, but maybe not as many games? Seems wrong to suspend Zucker for less games than Gudas. I thought Zucker’s incident was much more dangerous.
I agree 100% and would like to point out the initial contact by Gudas was made @.002 and the wild swing of the stick that removed Raymond's glove was after the period had ran out. He could of injured him with either of those chump moves
You said gudas? Yea it was intentional I don't even have to watch the video. He's dirty and has no class. He just trys to injure people when he plays. Then he's a cry baby when it happens to him.
The league's disciplinary department is either understaffed or overwhelmed, or simply incompetent. This game was 4 days ago, Gudas was +3 in a game he shouldn't have been eligible to play in… Your accent is adorable too! Thanks for the video
I mean it's 100% clear from the last few seasons that the league hates Detroit. Yzerman left The Bett-Mans favorite team in Tampa and continues to punish him for it like the petty baby he is!
It's ok, at least there wasn't a fight. The "League" will handle it…. NHL is a joke now. Everyone picks on the Wings because for years they've never had to pay a price on the ice….we don't want to see another McCarty/Claude incident 😂
When Gudas initiates contact (no puck, definitely interference), he loses his balance. It's natural with the leg to come up. The leg didn't help Raymond go down. A slew foot is when a player using his upper body AND leg to take a player down unsafely. This is 100% NOT a slew foot. If you want to see a text book slew foot, just watch Brad Marchand. He does it regularly without it being called.
NHL DoPS are incompetent/sleeping on the job. They are not truly concerned about preventing player injury through such incidents. They only seem to get involved with a small fine/minor suspension AFTER a player gets injured!

Brad Marchand approves.
