The goalie but look I’m not going to start making excuses in a game like this it it’s just it felt like a season ending game for me today it felt like a game seven of a series that the Sabres fought hard and just couldn’t get it
Done and uh there was no lack of I would say what I said and I missed some bits and pieces of this game cuz I was getting calls but um you know when when you’re in a game like this and you can’t get a goal you know and you could tell that my
Goodness this just might finish one- nothing this game the way it looks and uh I was so hoping we’d at least get this to overtime something so I think now we have to win all three games to salvage the homestand if we lose one of the next
Three it’s a big fail again it’s a big fail so they they’ve got to figure out uh way to get something done guys uh there’s no way around it right now they’ve got to get on a run and it it seems like circumstance or luck or call
It what you want just prevents this this Sabers team from getting on any kind of a run this year you know Lucan was solid it was the right call putting him in it was my goodness I feel bad for him mostly in this game it’s uh he did
Everything he could everything he could to get give us a chance to win this game and you know we when you fall short in a game like this this stings guys I’d rather have lost a little more easier than this I mean but I’m glad to know
That they could take literally one of the hottest teams in the league and play a game like this that was a good feeling but it’s just it’s like we desperately need points right now and we’re just not doing it so there’s not much else to say guys you
Know I’m just hoping that they can find a way somehow some way to get on a run this year and uh but if we go three and three at home for me that was a blowing opportunity to turn this season around and uh right now we’re one and two we’ve

Under is a big fail as far as I’m concerned so this one stings guys I’m tell you what this really stings and it was hard to watch you know even in the last minute I thought we were going to tie this game it just felt like you know
The team last year I believe would have tied this game we would have found a way whereas this team this year is so so snake bitten with luck and scoring that it just you know I was hoping they could they could get it done late but
Um I don’t know I don’t know guys I just don’t know so look uh for you Bills fans I hope you guys get it done I’ll be uh keeping an eye on the bills and I hope that uh this doesn’t dishearten everybody from giving up on the Sabers entirely I wouldn’t recommend
Giving up but it’s this one really stinks it does so I’m leaving it there guys I got to get out I got to do a few uh things on the road and uh it’s going to be a busy night for me so I’ve got to get on it and there’s the storms out

1st period the Sabres played with great puck procession, passes & shots on net. 👍 2nd & 3rd periods the Sabres preferred a ineffective dump & chase strategy. 👎
Im sick of this SOFT HEARTLESS GUTLESS STICK CHECKING Team! There was little or no net traffic especially during the PP ! Demko saw ever shot! Even the Vancouver announcers on Sportsnet said the Sabres shoot from the perimeter too much! With 4 seconds left no one went to the net!
Too many giveaways again in the D zone , Granato needs to go! Adams is a fool for letting Peca go to the Rags( NYR) he wouldve stressed more net traffic!
It was 0-1 for awhile, saying to myself we are going to get at least 1. Hat off to both Goaltenders tonight, could have gone the other way. gg. Lets get the 2 points the next time out
Sucks they lost this one, they were in it until the end. I didn't expect it to be this close. At least they stepped up the hitting. This game was way more entertaining than usual so there is that at least. Oh well.
And the sabres star players continue to be targeted and beat up. Been happening for years now. But for some reason, our GM continues to think it is a non issue and it doesn’t need to be addressed. Zero protection for the youngest team in the NHL. Smaaaaaart 👍…

I turned game off when an elbow to the head was only 2 minutes and no PP, Sabres suck, will always suck, sissies. I was hoping Miller would break his L, E G…I take life very serious and everything I do I give 110%, I can’t stand losers, sissies and people who lack effort.
i was livid miller didn’t get thrown after they completely missed the headshot on samuelsson, miller drills dahlin in the head with an elbow and then drops the gloves with power(who didn’t even drop his gloves) and he ONLY GETS 2 MINUTES?!?!?!?! the game got out of hand after that and i was glad to see the guys battle all game, this is a good canucks team we played and we stayed with them, this is one of the teams in the league where you have no room for error in order to beat them. Was hoping to get a point but hopefully this game maybe united the boys, one thing i didn’t like to see was during the benson/hronek battles after the whistle everyone was battling and they have 4 guys on top of our 2 guys in benson and greenway while a guy like clifton sits there and watches benson get manhandled. everyone needs to stand up for each other can’t be some of the team, needs to be everyone in the locker room protecting each other

Officiating in the NHL simply sucks! They played well enough but again, they can't get it done. BTW, Comrie gave up 5 goals in the AHL outdoor game in Charlotte.
This was still a good game. I wish the Sabres played this way every game. UPL has really shown his true colors and super offensive goaltending. It seems like this year the goaltending has improved across the league and the Sabres just haven’t been able to find the back of the net.
I’d love to see Benson get more goals with how much he’s at the front of the net for a rebound or a pass.
This team was suppose to be passed all this and be better. Things just don't seem to change. Year after year, Hope turns to excuses and underwhelming play !! Hate to say it, prolly to late anyways, but we need a Coaching change. It's becoming embarrassing now. Enough is Enough !!!
