ALRIGHT REDWINGS,you know I really believe we’re starting to turn it around again.think about they’re looking like They’re getting there chemistry and confidence back,I loved how all lines were phenomenally solid tonight especially our 3rd and 4th line.we’re defending way better still needs a little more work but it’s definitely improving since we’ve gotten healthy again,ESPECIALLY SEIDER ON DEFENSE WOW!,we are a lot better with Lyon in net ,so I don’t know how about reimer in net tomorrow.we’re on a 5 game point streak,and I love how we just did a season sweep against the 2nd best defensive team in the league and best penalty kill team,pretty impressive stuff beating a team like LA twice in a week I think who are not gonna be a team you want to play against in the playoffs which tells something about our group like lalonde said.LGRW
Kane is going to ask for a trade even if the team is in a playoff spot. And Derek Lalonde is why. He can't play w Compher. He doesn't get to play w Larkin 5v5 or even on the power play now. He doesn't get to play w the opponent net empty (3 full minutes tonight w the Kings net empty; 2 goal lead; him and Cat never got to play). He doesn't get to play to start OT, or to play w Cat in OT. Raymond meanwhile gets to be on the 1st line w Larkin, on the 1st power play w Larkin, is the first guy out there when the opponent net is empty, and starts OT.
Kane is much, much, much, much, much better than Lucas Raymond. So he should probably be treated that way. DeBrincat is also much much much better than Raymond.
So yea. I expect him to leave. He's not gonna play for this coach any longer than he has to, who does everything he can to mess w his career and ruin his ability to perform and produce.
It seems like they're having Seider focus more on his defensive play like early in his rookie season. He's been great lately. This team has a lot of offensive firepower so we don't need him trying to doing everything out there every night.
Excellent play for Wings through 2 periods until they started slacking and looking like amateurs in the 3rd period. Wings need to wise up. They can't continue to let the opponent catch up. They need to learn how to possess/control the puck. Can't make the playoffs if they keep having the opposing team catch up. This is a head coaching issue. Need to switch out Lalonde for John Tortorella ASAP. This has become a trend for the Wings. Torts would not allow that to happen without consequences.
