  1. the first attempted hit behind the net looked like an incredibly committed attempt at hitting directly into the boards, and happened way too quickly preceding this hit for me to not believe it was an informed decision on the part of the entire line, or a coach's order for a dirty hit

  2. I dislike Wilson as much as the next guy, but I'm sorry that's fucking entirely on Brodzinski for turning the instant before Wilson hit him. Either make the play and accept you're gonna get hit or don't, but it's really on the refs for even calling it ig.

  3. Why are there SO many full face shields this year? Feels like I’m watching the mighty ducks. Are that many dudes taking pucks to the face?

  4. This is definitely a case where the player turns right before contact. I think boarding is still fair because the player is a step away from the boards from the beginning, but it's not a major and it's not a hit from behind.

These aren't as common as a lot of people like to say, though. Most of the time players throw those kinds of hits even when players have already turned. Those need to be gotten rid of.

Ones like this are on the player being hit, though.

  5. Normally I try to give benefit of the doubt to the player getting hit but why the hell would you turn there lol, terrible call. It looks like Wilson even tried to let up a little, it was just too late.

  6. Clean hit. Not wilson fault for turning. Nhl needs to start penalizing players for putting themselves in danger spots.

It's stupid you give a guy a penalty for someone else stupidity.

It's not like he was standing there face first for 10 seconds and then Wilson hit him. Fuck Wilson but not his fault.

  7. The NHL has taught players to turn and flop. Its definitely worth it for the Power Play. You might even get a double minor or a game misconduct out of it.

  8. Clean hit…. Can’t help the kid gave his back up at the last second. Thanks Gary Bettman for water logging the greatest game on the planet.
