  1. We lost power in the storm 20 minutes before the game started until this morning. Watched the highlights though. Monty came up clutch again ! Not liking this trade Arber talk. I'm from Nova Scotia but was happy to see Barron benched. Not a fan of RHP either. He's a good AHL player but not with the big club. Some needless penalties cost us but overall ; against the Oilers they did pretty well. GHG

  2. Future
    Future
    Future.
That’s not what I want to hear.
I want the wins to start poring in NOW!
What will be different next season that our future will be better

  3. The Habs played great.. they kept it so close and we almost beat the Oilers…Slaf is playing and developing in an upward trajectory. It’s going well !

  4. Exciting game, despite the low score, going back and forth, fast game. I'm surprised the Habs got a point againt this powerhouse team that's on 🔥

  5. Slafkovsky, Kent's choice for 1st overall, AGAIN didn't earn a point and didn't deliver a single shot! With over 20min of ice time and almost 5min on the PP, he couldn't deliver a single shot? In the Box Score he's zeros across the board save 2 BS and a single HIt…he's 6-3, 230lbs!!! The kid has 4…FOUR…primary assists all year and he plays with the Team's best. In the last 5gms he went 2gms without registering shot and he's averaging .7 S/Gm. You guys can cover for him all you want but he if Arber and Roy need to be developing their games in Laval, why is Slafkovsky? 4g 15pts at this point in the year, playing with the best and on the 1st PP unit, is unacceptable.

  6. Great effort! 10/10. PK looked much better. Nothing new, though, Habs lack talent up front. Big changes coming up next year. Oh and Matheson and Ghule were exceptional.

  7. Am i the only one who didnt like the refs at all this game? I felt like the Oilers 1st goal was crazy to be allowed and then there were also like 5 missed penalties? Then we also got a high stick for not touching Nurse at all and an interference on Evans for getting held by McDavid?!?! If your wondering. Thats exactly why the Bell was booing McDavid.

  8. Oilers weren’t outplayed offensively five on five by the Habs by any means, but they did have good man on man coverage keeping them off the scoreboard for two periods. Let’s Go Oiler 🏆

  9. As an Oilers fan I was literally confused why McDavid was getting boo’d 😂 good to know it’s only because he’s so good lol

  10. Good effort by a depleted Mtl team (which has been for most of the season) against a high flying, presently in a winning groove Edm team. I know I have not been the biggest Matheson fan but he had his best defensive game tonight by far (the penalty at the end was unfortunate). Felt badly for Kovacevic who did not have his best game but what do you expect from being a healthy scratch and not playing for awhile. Evans had himself a game…an often unsung hero on this team. Gally can thank his team for bailing him out after taking yet another bad timing needless penalty…yet I still love the guy and what he brings the Habs game in game out. I still expect much more from Caufield than getting easy open net goals. If he is not scoring, he needs to improve his play away from the puck in a big way. He is still young too and learning but the pressure is on especially at his pay grade. And Roy…pretty invisible and made a few blunders but for his first game in the NHL, you could not expect a lot…let him get his feet wet before judging his play. Not to be a pessimist but a realist…I expect our Habs to regress as the season drags on further and especially after trade deadline where I expect a few good players to be moving out with some new guys coming in…so I would not give up on a top10 pick just yet. I personally am still waiting on Hughes to surprise us with a deal that helps accelerate and push this Habs rebuild forward with a Hughes stamp&identity rather than the expected, trade a vet for a pick/prospect. This team won't tank bc that is not an MSL team, but I do not expect a run at that wild card spot either.

  11. Great show. Screw the Leafs! Your Habs will be a very strong team for years to come. Lots of great young talent. As an Oilers fan, I think we may make a move for Monahan at the deadline. Would be a great depth add.

  12. Haven’t watched a lot of Montreal games this year but I have to say I thought Matheson was a beast on defence. His skating is incredible, his hockey IQ is very high.

  13. As an oilers fan, I thought Montreal played a pretty great game. We had nothing going at all for the first two periods. A lot of that was due to Montreal playing hard, giving us no space, and having great sticks in their own zone. I’m honestly surprised we won, the Oilers kinda played like poo until the third period

  14. I’m surprised montembeault doesn’t have a .920 save percentage right now, I feel like he hardly ever has a bad night and even if he does he has a few .930+ save percentage nights to make up for it

  15. Lolz, you’re not gonna get any pushback from most fanbase on that jab on the Leafs towards the end of this video. 😂
