Back in 2018 when the Jets were in the playoffs, I made a white Winnipeg Jets themed Darth Vader helmet for the whiteout parties. It was just a fun idea, and I didn’t really think much of it. The day after wearing it for the first time, my mom called to tell me that my picture was in paper, and she had kept a copy for me. I meant to pick it up from her so I could keep it as a memento, but life is busy and she lived out of town. Unfortunately she passed away in 2021 and I had kind of forgotten about it. Recently, while going through some of her stuff, I found it and decided it would be a nice idea to frame it. I did it myself, and it isn’t perfect by any means (I put it the frame with the rest of the paper instead of cutting it out so I could open it up years from now and see what else was happening at the time. It made it tough to get it the frame perfectly straight) but I figured you guys might appreciate it. I’m hoping to wear it to the whiteout again this year. If you ever see me in it, stop me and say hi! Go Jets Go!

Is downtown Winnipeg winning these days?

That time was the most pride I’d ever felt to be a Winnipegger.
I made sure to soak it all in. The street party for Gm. 1 vs Vegas was one of the most fun nights I’d ever had. (Yea I don’t get out much, but still š ) We also went around to some downtown spots after
