Hoping the cops are more on the ball about investigating brutality when it’s someone else doing the brutality.

I’m assuming this guy’s $10M payout will not affect the Leafs’ salary cap.

Every man shouldve tackled the two guards. Guards would’ve stopped immediately when outnumbered. This is absolute horseshit that people will watch.
That guard deserved a boot to his face.

“Toronto police didn’t confirm the video, but said they were called to the arena at 9:48 p.m. on Saturday “for an arrest in relation to an assault.” A 37-year-old man was taken into custody, they said, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.”
Did they arrest the security guard or the dude they jumped? Honestly can’t tell either way.

I don’t mean to mitigate the abuse this man endured, but I’m curious to know – are there reports as to how this started?

“After video review, the security guard’s knee didn’t cause him to bleed but the floor did when the knee impacted the fan’s head. Therefore the call on the lobby floor stands, we have a good guard” – MLSE or some shit
