1/12 PHI vs. MIN Postgame: Joel Farabee

I guess just take us through the winner first of all you guys had been pressuring obviously the whole time that one go yeah we had a um uh you know a good turnover uh in our Zone I forget who made the play but then we just kind

Of quick upped it uh they were kind of scrambling on their change and uh you know just a really good shot by Z to um you know get it through and uh you know just lucky to get a piece of it there when you guys went down 31 to the third

There was there anything that was set on the bench or was just you guys just kind of regrouped on the next shift and just got right back to you know getting back into the game yeah I mean uh you know I don’t think there was necessarily one

Thing said I think it’s just kind of been a you know a story of our team all year doesn’t really matter what’s going on in the game we we try to pick each other up um you know harsy obviously probably that second one he wants back

But you know he he he locked in right after that made some really big saves and kept us in it and then uh you know tip gets that really big goal to you know get us to OT so um like I said it’s just how kind of how it’s been going

This year one guy just picks picks up a guy and you know we just go from there you feel like you’re taking advantage of of a pretty good opportunity now not just playing on the top line but getting regular power play time now that you weren’t getting really early part of the

Season yeah 100% so um um yeah I just feel like I’m in a really good place in my game I know kind of what Tores expects out of me and uh what Rocky expects out of me on the power play and things like that so um you know I’m not

Really thinking too much out there I’m just kind of going out there and playing and you know I find that’s when I play my best off you mentioned the games have kind of been going like this easy to build on and kind of maybe get a little

Run going here yeah hopefully um you know something we talked about before even before the game you know this is a really tough tough road trip uh at this point in the year um you know obviously we got to go to winipeg tomorrow and then to St Louis this is um you know

That time of the year where you know points are are really crucial so to get the two points here and um you know to to move on is really good for our team morale and hopefully we can just keep building off up one of the talking

Points after the last game was how you guys showed your mental toughness and that was kind of that type of game this is kind of just another one of those ones that just you know you guys get hit first with the first goal then two goals down in the third period there just

Continues you guys are showing that mental health yeah 100% I mean I think you even look at our team last year where something like that would happen and we kind of just would go into a shell and kind of not necessarily give up but you know kind of let teams walk

All over us where I feel like U you know something bad happens out there uh like I said before we just pick each other up we keep moving forward and um you know when you have that mental mental head space that you’re going to come back and

You believe in each other you know great things happen out there

Hear from Joel Farabee following a 4-3 win over the Wild.
