Avalanche Captain Gabriel Landeskog skates for the first time since knee cartilage transplant

Colorado Avalanche Captain Gabe Landeskog was seen skating for the first time since he underwent a knee cartilage transplant. Landeskog hasn’t played since Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on June 26, 2022. Last season, Landeskog attempted a late-season comeback before eventually announcing that he would shut it down with just a few weeks left in the regular season. Nearly a month later, it was announced that he’d miss the entire 2023-24 regular season after electing to go the cartilage transplant route. Sandy Clough and Shawn Drotar react to the news as the Avs hope to get their captain back on the ice.
