GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Kraken (01.15.24) | Kraken The Code

Monday afternoon the Pittsburgh Penguins hosted the Seattle Kraken. The Kraken have a 9-game win streak heading into this match-up. This was also Brian Dumoulin’s first return after playing 546 games over 10 seasons with the Penguins organization. The first period was scoreless. After regrouping during the intermission, the Penguins came out quick. Bryan Rust entered the zone with the puck and made a perfect pass to space of the back door. Drew O’Connor was able to tap in the first goal for the Penguins over the glove of Joey Daccord. Minutes later, Sidney Crosby ripped a slap shot into the back of the net. The Penguins kept their 2-0 lead through most of the 3rd period until Crosby got his second goal of the night in the Kraken empty net. The game ended 3-0 in favor of the Penguins.

  1. Смотрел весь матч:Пэнс классно отыграли сегодня в обороне ну и Т.Джарри недаром перед игрой погладил ловушкой перекладину!!!Очередной сухарь,победа!!!!!

  2. A full 60 min game from everyone. See what happens! Maybe these older guys like playing before their bedtime? lol jk. Great game!

  3. Great follow up to the last two games where they came out not ready at all. Today they were the better team in all three periods. Wish we could score on the power play for once, but still a great game. Jarry was amazing
