Do we know if the game will be watchable through espn? Or would it fall under the blackout?
Gonna miss seeing Val on ice for a bit but KG and Ryker are 100% right, time for someone to step up find their place.
Have to say, seeing grown men, in the spotlight, showing the courage Sammy G and Val have is wonderful. Men’s mental health and/or addiction is so rarely discussed or portrayed like this. Their courage starts conversations. While I’m sure their intentions are for personal progress, as it should be, it’s great to see the effect it has on the world in even small ways. Cheers Val, get healthy, come back better than ever.

i assume the avs front office knew about the nuke stuff for a couple days. why didn’t they call up more forwards? They called up justus and he’s here so its not a logistical problem to get guys out east. seems odd

Happy Val is getting the help he needs, just as Sammy did. Hope this opens up the door to more players getting the help they need, if they need it.
