You don’t say…

  1. Yall need to read between the lines. No negotiator is going to advertise that he desperately wants to trade a player.

Well of course not, if all he’s going to get are lowball offers. Hughes is far too smart to just dump a 1A/1B goalie for a mere 6th rounder.

This means Allen is for sure getting traded. Just pumping up trade value by threatening to sit tight.

Ohhh my freaking lord!!! You cannot be serious! (John McEnroe style). That friggen does it! I’m just going to have to accept it and continue cheering for this god damn team!

    Ha-ha… I dunno, whatever…

  5. For me. I agree with mindset of not making a move for a sake of doing it. My only concern about that specifically is that Primeau could be logging more games here and there and getting reps in more games. Monty is just too good right now to not hold the pipes.

Then again, there seems to be some more optimism for up and coming talent. I guess the best thing here is IF Fowler and Dobes turn out to be too good, then Hughes has options for the best return.

They’re definitely going too though, trading away allen for a 2nd + a 4th (which honestly better might even be possible) is good not just for the picks but also allowing more playtime for Monty and Primeau

It just all works out perfectly if one of them is gone

  7. Saying we have no problem keeping all of our goalies and that we aren’t in a rush to trade them will get us a better return than if he said he was basically desperate to trade one of them
