David Pastrnak REACTS to Bruins 3-0 Win vs Devils | Postgame Interview 1/15/24
For a while so uh you know we just try to make sure we we keep going you know and and yeah definitely I think the first period uh set set the tempo for us in the game and you know um it’s been a good good win to come back and and get
The two points you said that Monty actually told us earlier so did I said it or Monte Monty said um you guys are talking before the game and you actually cut him off said I’m good today I got this you’ve been kind of a little bit
How does it feel to come out today and really put one of those signature um yeah I mean it’s it’s always you know like you as a as a player or pro athlete you know you’re always looking for for a little resarch the season is long long
And this stuff’s going to happen you know and and uh with the experience I had and you know great teacher or do you say teachers yeah great guys to you know learn from throughout my mentors throughout my career uh we kind of look for some res you know it’s good to be
Coming back home uh play front of your friends a little bit you know spend time with the family and and uh definitely so you you as as a broad lead you’re looking for these little things and little details and and um you know it
Was a good reset for me to to get back home it was a long road trip and and uh it was nice fun you haven’t played a ton with Charlie Coyle but you have here these last couple games what have you thought of you know way you guys have jailed yeah honestly
Uh that’s correct we have played more together than we practiced so uh we definitely uh you know kind of like reading from each other it’s always easier when they starting to build a lot of chemistry with Marie so for me it’s like much easier to to come as a third
Guy and kind of get rid of them you know so uh yeah still definitely with Charlie you know we communicate and and we still have uh much to improve so uh but last couple games you know he was good you know he’s he’s unbelievable player he’s
Great skills you know he step up in a big role and he’s been a big part of our team so uh yes definitely our chemistry I know we can be much better than it is right right now but obviously how I said we didn’t have ton of practices together was very important
Second you think uh yeah definitely you know the pp uh um was huge for us uh it’s it’s always uh you know in NHL and there’s you know um you can always come back the the stuff happens quick but uh the power play was big for us you know and and we
Had plenty of chances before for and and excuse me and we battle hard you know there’s uh I think we won three or four battles on the power play before we we we scored you know and that was the important times because in the beginning the penalty kill is so good in this
League that everybody said but because we won those battles those windows open up you know and we’ve been able to capitalize what are you seeing from from sway right now in terms of just his competitiveness and now that he’s he’s played several of rounds it’s uh I I
Love it you know the the stuff that I see from sway you know he he wants to get better every day at the practice he he’s not afraid of the challenge and and uh you know the most I love about him is very um comfortably
Uh oh Dam I just lost the word he’s so confident you know in the right way that that’s uh that’s you know it’s it’s been fun to watch him and and you know he’s he uh you can you can feel the confident out of him you know and he’s not afraid
But you know the healthy confidence with him so and the work I think you know he’s been uh both our genders are just
BOSTON — Bruins Forward David Pastrnak reflected on the team’s strong start in their 3-0 win over the New Jersey Devils, emphasizing its importance in setting the game’s tempo. “The first period set the tempo for the rest of the game. We had one of the better starts we had for a while. We just try to make sure we keep going… it was a good win to come back and get the two points,” Pastrnak noted, highlighting the significance of their initial momentum in securing the victory.
