I knew Torts would be good for this team, but I gotta be honest, I thought they would be bottom 5 in the league. It’s incredible what they’re doing with the players they have. Torts has to be an early Jack Adams favourite. Let’s go Flyers!!
Edmonton is supposedly the "class" of the league with a 10-0 record in last 10 games.
They have 4 good players and the rest of the team is literally an ahl team including the only goaltender they bother playing at .903 save percentage.
Then we have Boston way up there with ex-flyer James van Riemsdyk in 4th place points on the team when Tortsy wrote him off last year as an old man incapable of playing on any team.
As Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones would say "Anybody can coach this team" to a winning record. Look at St Louis and Montreal over .500.

LETS GO FLYERS!!
Team is on a roll. Starting to feel like Philly hockey is back!!
Torts definitely checks the standings daily, I don’t buy it😂
Good stuff
NO QUITERS ON THIS TEAM. The quiters wore green & white tonight.
You played the blues they suck
Honestly the flyers played great but the blues gave that third period away. That Beezer goal was embarrassing
Fly guys are playing good hockey…in a "rebuild" year. They are young, fast, and tenacious. Incredible.
Nobody would have expected Philly to be currently 2nd in the Metro right now.
Can he also be the new Eagles head coach?
torts hall of famer
FROST PLAYING GREAT HE MUST LOVE PLAYING SECOND HALF TIPPET IS FLYING LETS GO FLYERS I LOVE IT
torts can barely find anything to be mad about now, this is shaping up nicely.
Boys are grinding
I always liked tough coaches if they get their players to buy in, great things happen.
Hey John, do you know anything about coaching football?!?
76ers and Flyers have the right coach

If Drysdale doesn't play Thursday against Dallas (25-12) then we might speculate that Tortorella doesn't like the trade.
He doesn't want to sub experience for inexperience and defense for offense on the blue line. Thats not the way he operates with a team on a roll.
Tortorella can't say to the media that Drysdale is another Dan Boyle level talent while finding ways to keep him out of the lineup.
