You could put Perry on 3/4th line and either PP1/PP2 for those garbage goals around the net. He has made a career out of big goals in big moments. He is media hardened so he could handle the poisonous vermin that surround the Buds. So ya, I think he would fit and I wouldn't even mind if it was 2 yes @1.5 per. That said, I hope some team picks him up and allows him a chance to finish a great career, the traditional way.
I would be all for adding Perry make this team a pain in the ass to play against every night win or lose. Plus I think he would hold guys accountable. Also I would be a down for a guy from my city to be on the Leafs

As u say, this is a "no brainer". He is just what the bottom 6 needs. Without a decent bottom 6, team will go nowhere in the playoffs. Whatever cap gymnastics or player movements have to be done, just do it. Corey is an Ontario boy, Leafs would be in his top 3 teams to go to. He expressed interest in the past, but Dubas always took a pass. Let's hope Treliving has more sense.
I think it would be great to add Perry to the Leafs! He is a pain to play against. I can't say that about any of the current Leaf Players.
