Owen Tippett, Philadelphia Flyers close road trip with win in St. Louis

The Philadelphia Flyers, still without Sean Couturier and Jamie Drysdale, are looking to win their 4th straight, and close their 3-game road trip undefeated, against Kevin Hayes, Brayden Schenn and the St. Louis Blues.

Carter Hart is between the pipes, and Noah Cates makes his return after missing the last 21 games with a broken foot.

Charlie & Bill break down the action and discuss the latest Nick Seeler rumors, the future of Bobby Brink, Drysdale’s absence, and much more!

  1. Let's just enjoy having 2 legit starting goalies. Look what it's done for Boston. When they gotta decide who to part with then have those convos.

  2. Seeler is beloved in that room. I think moving Risto is a decent possibility. Friedman also mentioned PHI has told teams they'll eat cap on Walker or Ristolainen

  3. I am thinking with the Cutter situation beginning before the summer (last), and Couturier's health. That the Flyers did not move Laughten last summer with the rumor of a 1st round pick for Laughts, they felt they had to keep him. Many questions coming into the Season with Laughts and Cam Atkinson's health, and knowing you had to move your top prospect, outside of Michkov. What do you guys think?

  4. If I was Danny B I'd be faxing Bettman's office every day trying to bully him into getting a resolution for the Hockey Canada thing because this CANNOT go on!!!!

  5. If the Flyers are in a rebuild, Seeler and/or Walker need to be dealt. Time to sell high and get more draft capital. I’ll be extremely disappointed in Briere if he doesn’t move one of them.

Fletcher would keep both. I don’t want Briere engaging in Fletchernomics.

  6. Correct. People have been looking for an alternative to Hart because of the hockey Canada stuff. He could be suspended, he could be revealed to be a shitty person, and… even if he’s not… he may want too much money in his next deal. People just like that there’s a great plan B. And seeing that there is, it’s easy to just roll with him.
