Nikita Zadorov tracked Reilly Smith across the zone and then drilled him into the boards from behind. Smith immediately went to the bench, tried to return, but left the game after the first period. There was no call on the hit. Was it clean? Have your say!

Definition of boarding. Could see the height attained from the leap, but considering how high he hit, he probably left his feet too (you can see his skates kick up, because they certainly weren't on the ice). And you still have charging due to "distance travelled".
Maybe he was confused by the numbers on his back
