Moritz Seider BIG HITS Update
#moritzseider #seider #nhl #detroitredwings
I created this video to show that Moritz Seider has now thrown 427 hits in 202 career games so far. Seider is now in his 3rd NHL season, and he continues to get better in every aspect of his game. This is why I think that the Detroit Red Wings should sign Moritz Seider to a longer term contract very soon. Seider is for sure the Red Wings franchise defenseman. I hope he wins a Norris Trophy in the future.

Beast.
He won't even fill out completely until he's 25. He needs to work on his positioning, though, before he can even be mentioned in the same sentence as Lidstrom.
Not sure I like the Lidstrom/whomever comparison, but a nice compilation of Moetown's Biggest Hits. He probably reminds me more of Konstantinov, but bigger and less nasty. But his upside is tremendous. Lidstrom was just in a class of his own. He could put two eggs in his pockets and come out as the best player in the game easy. Maybe the smartest defenseman in the game ever.
One minute and forty one seconds of hits in a 2.5 year career is not much. Mo's been slacking off on the hits/game state this season, ergo the Wing's slump despite scoring in the top 5.
Mo is playing passive as hell this year. His hits have dropped off completely. He's been extremely undisciplined this year too. Im growing impatient. I thought he was on track to be an elite d man but regressing more in year 3 than 2. Hopeful he finds a nasty side and learns when to pinch.
He hasn't been playing with the same aggression this season, I think he's being coached to play a more offensive roll and to focus on making a play instead of a big hit that slows down the game and puts him out of position. The side effect is that no one is making regular big hits and the team looks very weak. No one is setting the tone for the wings and we tend to get rag dolled and pushed around way too often. Seider is still playing well tho and defiantly Detroits best defenseman but I don't like the less aggression this season.
could have been told by his coaches he doesnt have to worry about playing so physical during the season
Sieder and trouba might laye the biggest hits in the nhl right now sieder is also a nice defenseman to have on any team same with trouba they both have very similar game styles
Looks like a mini ovechkin on defense. Ovechkin was wrecking guys at 20
