How is Alexander Georgiev an NHL All-Star over Connor Ingram?

The NHL All-Star fan votes were revealed on Saturday, and unsurprisingly, no Arizona Coyotes were on the list. Surprisingly though, was the fact that Alexander Georgiev earned an All-Star nod. The Colorado Avalanche net minder has a sub-nine save percentage. On the other hand, Connor Ingram leads the league in shutouts, is top-10 in goals saved above expected and has a .919 save percentage. The PHNX Coyotes crew makes the case why Ingram should have been an All-Star over Georgiev.

  1. I love the Coyotes disrespect. I embrace it. Let them hate us for no good reason. We'll keep cruising

  2. It's never been the most deserving 😂😂😂😂 We have more fans than you do. It's basically a popularity contest. I'm sorry, ingram is very deserving tho

  3. Avs fan and beer league goalie as well…Georgiev is not having an Allstar season. I can't fight the Ingram argument, he is killing it this year.

  4. Sens aren't doing great this year, but you see a team like Ottawa or Buffalo for example. Both teams have talent but lose in voting to guys like the Core 4 in Toronto. Regardless its a popularity contest and the All Star weekend has just become a ton of BS.
