Tonight could have been called ”The Great Ontario Collapse”

  2. Calling__Elvis

Oh no. The Sens lost another one. And they were leading but then… damn.

  3. MattIpp44

Out of all the Sens teams, this one is certainly one of them

  4. nickiss1ck77

I mean to be fair, the Avalanche are probably the best if not top 3 comeback team in the league this season.

But yes, ottowa collapse is still a better description, the avs do be doing that to other teams tho.

They believe they can’t win, and so they don’t. Colorado played last night and we were getting out-skated in the third.

or “the great avalanche come back” they have done it two games in a row

  7. Jonesyrules15

    I mean a 2 goal lead isn’t necessarily a collapse

  8. Square_Dimension5648

Don’t let the other team score 5 goals in the 3rd period challenge: IMPOSSIBLE

  9. Is blowing a 2-goal lead (which has long been known as “the most dangerous lead in hockey”) now considered a “Great Collapse”? …Or are we just grasping for headlines?

  10. Honestly watching the game, I think the team is throwing this season away.

The only one with emotion is Giroux.

  11. D-Broncos

Didn’t this happen between these two teams in Colorado a month ago?

  12. MorgenKaffee0815

when you think hockey is only 2 half of 20min each not the first time ottawa only played two periods.

i feel so sad for Giroux. he should have stayed in Florida.

On the goal that got called back, Malinski skated the puck in a straight line from his own faceoff dots, all the way through the neutral zone, into the high slot, shot and scored, without even being challenged one time. I’m not even exaggerating lol, it was literally a straight untouched line.

  14. Didn’t even show the malinski snipe negated by an offsides.

  15. SmoothPinecone

This was also just after Colorado scored a disallowed goal to make it 4-3 if we include that

I guess going with Sogaard instead of Korpisalo just because Korpisalo doesn’t have good career stats against COL didn’t work eh Jacques??

There are only a hand full of Sens who seem to actually care about what’s going on. I mean they were more invested in DJ being their buddy rather than their coach because he didn’t hold any of them accountable. He blamed everything going wrong on magic puck bounces, puck luck, bad luck … anything but the player poor performance. So it was easy to become losers because there was zero accountability except for the players who just had their own. Those players must have been so frustrated under that regime.

Now Martin is having to undo a ton of bad habits, bad play and probably poor attitude.

I think we have a number of guys who are doing their best, working hard and trying to turn things around but that’s like 1-2 guys per line playing against 6 opponents. You just can’t win that way.

Just watching them play you can see they aren’t playing for each other, they aren’t playing for the fans, I don’t know what they’re playing for. Maybe just pay check?

Our goaltending situation is just an embarrassment. None of our goalies are legit #1 players. Our defensive players just panic the moment the other team enters the zone and they fall apart.

It’s hard to be a fan right now. I feel bad pointing fingers but this team is in shambles.

It’d be great if the Avs weren’t in a position where they had to come back so often.

  19. RecalcitrantHuman

Leafs. 3-0? Nah you got this.

    Ottawa: hold my beer
