  1. One of the hardest workers the Sabres have had in the past 15 years. I loved watching him on the ice and the couple times I ran into him in the wild he was always engaging and gracious. Enjoy retirement, king.

Will never forget two things: the “hero” call from this game and the milk commercial.

Honorable mention that this series led the Sabres to sign Ville “The Streets Will Never Forget” Leino.

One of my favorite Sabres of all time. He was always such a hard worker and deserved much more credit than he seemed to get for his offensive skill set. Enjoy retirement, Enzo.

Somewhere out there that person is probably still on Twitter demanding the Sabres trade back Ennis and Foligno.

Man there was a time when I thought he was gonna be a star. His first 10 games + playoffs, wow. Going into the year after, with Myers winning the Calder I thought we were set. Young star forward, giraffe man Calder on the back end. Oof.

Still, Ennis carved out a solid career, and I feel like injuries stole the best. Oddly, went to the same high school as him, so I always pulled for him extra hard aha.

  6. My aunt and cousin went to a Sabres/Leafs game after he left just to see him and brought a sign saying as much. He was a healthy scratch but still in the building. Partway through the game an usher came and handed them two signed hats that said “thanks for being a fan.” Made their day and I will always remember him for that.
