The Devils are so overrated. They only rely on the power play and have horrible goaltending and defense. They got too cocky last season and are gonna miss the playoffs this year.

That 4 min penalty was costly, but have to admire how they kept playing their game, and their top guys are paving the way.
That pass by Caufield was out of this world, and Slaf is starting to bury his chances.
The future is exciting. Mention to Roy, you can tell he’s almost ready to make the jump and this first goal, might unlock that confidence level.

Its unbelievable how teams are losing to the habs in 2024…
Love how it immediately occurred to Monahan to collect the puck after Roy's 1st goal. A true leader, hope we can re-sign him. I firmly believe that he's largely responsible for this young group learning how to be a winner, in more ways than just playing well.

Will be interesting to see what Hughes does now – he can't abandon the re-build just because Monahan is playing well, this is his golden opportunity to get a solid prospect for him. Sell high is the mark of a great GM, let's see if he sells high, or makes a big mistake.

Why did the Devils trade Graves and why are they playing Lazar? Those offseason trades and this seasons nonstop injuries are brutal. Lindy needs to bench a few guys and tighten up the play style. So sloppy at times. 2 on 1's most games. Lowest save percentage because of the players, well mostly because the players.
