I’m not worried about the team. I am, however, worried about Bob. Two bad, bad games in a row.
Crummy home stand. Lazy not getting the clear gave up the tie goal,then top it off with a bad ekblad penalty. Lyon was nothing special. They just need to keep the foot on the gas. Minimal concern here.
1-1-2 on the homestand so far. Hope to make it 2-1-2 against Minnesota friday.

I've always wished there was an option to watch hockey games with just the sounds of the game. I don't need someone screaming at me about what I'm watching, but I also don't want to hear silence. The gamecast style broadcast tonight was a decent medium as I could easily tune them out when I was focused on the game and I also enjoyed hearing some context added from guys who aren't getting paid by the team

yeah no panic just really sad play. They could have won these games, I would not say easily, but just they play so loose and lazy on defense lately. Not clearing, not hitting, forwards are not being aggressive on the puck in the zone. At least Lundell looked good tonight, but I really want to see Samo or Sourdif up maybe as they have been great in the AHL, hell even Knight has been looking a lot better lately.

So, it's not about a loss. It's about how bad they play. Unlike some, never saw them as a good defensive team. They are not confident in a D zone, they are not good in transition (Which is actually the biggest change from A President trophy season, when they were masterful), they have a hard time clearing the puck. All of it – is an every game appearance. But this is a terrible showing. Total chaos on defence. Bad coverage, line control, breakaways. No goalie will save you, when your defence plays against you. OT goal is actually on Mikkola. Yeah, clearing the puck is a must, and it's an issue, but putting yourself out of play in this situation, and creating a screen against is the worst possible play. Forsling has that tendency, of overplaying when 4 on 3 also, so that's a pattern. A team with one offensive line, without that line, has nothing to show. Oooofff Lundell.
