We have a really interesting story coming out of the Allsvenskan, the second tier pro hockey league in Sweden behind the SHL, as a game yesterday between the Mora IK and the IF Björklöven is being investigated for match-fixing, otherwise known as being rigged.
The mid-tier Mora IK team was down 3-0 after nine minutes, but then rallied and scored eight straight goals, winning the game 8-4 against an IF Björklöven team that is one of the best in the league.
Furthermore, we had sites tracking the online sports betting for this match display some odd results throughout the match, and we also had some clips of the players in the game for IF Björklöven playing very lackadaisically, to the point where it didn’t even seem like they were trying.

You forgot to mention when Vegas blew 3-1 lead in the playoffs couple years ago against the sharks. lol not rigged just saying what you were saying.
The NHL is rigged. I am still a fan that can’t stop watching the playoffs. It’s not just the NHL, all major leagues are rigged. Someday a former player will come out with the truth. And he will be ridiculed by everybody, including us.
Nice topic kinda different from the prospect ones
The only thing in the NHL that's rigged is the lottery wonder why they dropped the Rangers ball is heavier probably had a magnet
Referees make mistakes at times, but they're never biased towards one team
Makes sense why the Seahawks didn’t run the ball, and JR Smith carried the basketball to half court 👀
I saw that and was like this has to be a joke i listen to the whole thing and was in shock that isn’t right I’d try to win
this just ruins hockey if this is truly rigged
I know 1 event that was rigged this current year…..
Europe leagues have actually had really shotty officiating of late… seen so many people complaining about it being just horrendous, moreso than any other league
Either way I'd love an update when this is over. I'd like to be wrong, but it sounds very very possible that they threw the game. Gonna take a look at those gifs
anyone remember cgy choked a 3 nothing lead in game 6 against the stars
I know on bet365 if your team goes up 3-0 (in hockey) you get early payout meaning it counts as a win (for your bet) even if they blow the lead
Very strange situation. Now expressed wrote that it’s most likely an error at bet365, but who knows
1meens that the home team win
X is tide
2 is away team win
And the numbers is how many times the money you win for example 1.72 you get 1.72 times the money
It’s a crazy story
Watched the game live, dont think its rigged but obviously its good that its being investigated
A lot of things point out this could be rigged. BUT the recent news about it is that probably there were a bug in bet 365s betting algorithm. According to a professional in this subject, it is possible that Björklöven got the odds that mora should have if they were leading with 3-1. Wich would make sense, because according to some info the odds on björklöven was exactly the same odds that mora should have if they were in the lead. But unfortunaltely bet365 doesnt want to comment that case.
they scored 6 goals in powerplay
If it weren't for the betting odds piece this would just be talked about as a lazy effort by Björklöven (and/or good effort by Mora), not a thrown game.
It seems the betting company whose odds were at the center of this has now confirmed it was some kind of error on their part and this has all been laid to rest.
