The Rangers came out with a strong effort in the first but found themselves down 2-0 and were never able to overcome the deficit. Mika Zibenejad scored the Rangers only goal in the loss on the power play. The Rangers look to turn things around on the west coast road trip against the Kings tomorrow night.

Shesterkin has Terrets. Start looking to draft another goalie. Hes wiped out.
The energy left the Rangers when there goalie gives up 2 soft goals on 4 looks. This is a problem. This team will be out of first place forever the all start break. Embarrassing loss and Igor has become a liability, plain and simple.
Igor Shesterkin is Jeckyll and Hyde. Quick needs more starts hes just better than Igor. Better get tje start against his old team Sat.
This teams heart is not there. They wont get past the first round like this
The way this team has played, since late November, they deserve to lose first place. Team is highly flawed and not getting bailed out by their goaltending, at all.
I will need five strong games in a row from the Rangers (ten for Igor) before believing in them again.
I see little to no urgency from this group & their Head Coach, it's not time to panic, but it is time to get hangry, can someone muck it up & get in these teams kitchen!? Show some damn fight!
They also have to make Quickie the starter. I think Igor is bucking under the pressure. I feel that he is threatened by Quicks play this year & it's making him put to much pressure on himself.
This team needs to get out of this slump by playing tough, stout, TEAM defense. Start winning low scoring games. Just try to win all of your one on one battles & keep it simple, get pucks & butts to the net & play playoff, shutdown defense.

Again, thank you Valley. Valley is preparing every Ranger fan for another disappointing post season if the Rangers continue to play this way. Valley Key stat, past 5 SC winners have given 2 goals on the Rush. The Rangers are giving anywhere from 5 to 8, no team is going to win a Stanley Cup that way.
Might be time for a trade to put the rest of the team on notice.
Is it just me or do the Rangers make the other team’s goalies look good too often? Clear vision clappers from the point arent going to go in in the NHL. Combined with a ruthless amount of turnovers…
