I interned with the Islanders through York University in the summer of 2006. The Community Relations Director approached me to ask if I wanted to be Sparky the Dragon for a kid's skating party at the local Rinx. I said "hell yes!" Probably the most fun I had that summer. I was a live cartoon character for 2 hours, and didn't have to say a word. But lemme tell you – staying in that costume for 2 hours gets real hot and funky.

I don't understand people claiming it's not a hand pass. No, he didn’t grab the puck and throw it to someone, he knocked down a clearing attempt with his hand. His teammate was the first to touch it so that has always been a hand pass. Plus, in this case it directly lead to a goal because it kept the puck in the zone.
That was the worst bullshit call I've ever seen… HAND PASS? It bounced off his glove AND was touched by the Toronto stick at the same time as Zary… What a joke

I was at this game Steve and I have to say I was fuming after the 2-0 goal! Even when Toronto went ahead 4-2 I still wasn’t able to just relax! This time they got two points by the skin of their teeth and I got 20 gray hairs but worth it all! Kad was fined for the rude gesture but interestingly enough gio reached out to kad in Toronto in the off season and took him out to dinner to burry the hatchet and they started to train together.
