The misconduct was because Hedman tried to slash Carrick but hit the Ref instead. They showed another angle during the game that showed it.

How is it only 2min for Anaheim? Play was stopped and he attacked a player from behind. This should be atleast 2+2.

Hedman wasn't out of the game. He was due back at about the 13 minute mark of the 3rd period after serving 14 minutes in penalties. A 10 minute misconduct is 10 minutes, a game misconduct is out of the game. Hedman got 10 plus the two 2 minute minors, 14 minutes.

The instigator always get away sh t – NHL needs to reinvent the game – way too boring and take hitting out of the game – soooo tired of guys having to drop the gloves after a clean hit – hey GB can you stop drinking until this is figured out?
The refs are so effing over-protected it´s ridiculous. I could accept it in a way if they didn´t make so many obvious mistakes , but as it is now it´s just to show the players who´s in charge. Can´t someone with the know-how make a channel called "Effing-Reffing" just to display those primadonnas.
