Never in my life would I have thought Iād ever say this but Retire #18! Itās only right! Like Daneyko, he played his whole career with 1 team when even Gretzky played for more than 3 teams! The guy made the cut every year because of his speed, defense and hockey sense and i.Q.
Gomez-Mogilny-Brylin one of the most slept on lines of all time! Our 2nd Line in the early 2000s that couldāve and wouldāve been a 1st line on any other team in the NHL! Took loads of pressure off the A line(Arnott, Sykora and Elias) and terrorized the NHL for 2 seasons to result in 2 Cup finals! Brylin was the one doing all the dirty work defensively and taking a beating so Gomez and Mogilny could shine! He wouldāve been a 35 goal scorer easily if he didnāt care about defending but would we have won 3 Cups without his defensive contributions??
