part of what has made this season so soul crushing is that they had the expectation their competitive window was wide open this season but their performance has been anything but. if they had set the expectations that this was a developmental year (they would role with all their young players in the NHL while the entire roster learns how to play a more structure style of hockey and that there would be the corresponding growing pains) it wouldn’t be near as painful.

I think Adams continuing to do absolutely nothing will ultimately be the answer. Also, they need more goalies.

Can’t think of a more disappointing season after what was a step forward last year. Just completely squandered any good will they had made, yet another lost season.

Your best offensive player admits half way through the season they’re still having trouble grasping the concept of going to the net, playing an entirely perimeter game is pretty worrying. Kevyn Adams? This is fine 🤷♂️
