How about that Hyman! Blocks a wicked shot in the final 2 minutes and then chases down and scores the insurance goal. 28 on the year so far…incredible. It's an offense that he is not on the All Star team. And that McLeod goal was insane. The highlight of the night.
Another 2 points and a win . No points for 97 or 29 . Hyman a beast on the empty net. Good win. Holloway looked ok for his first game back . Brown missed the empty part of the net . He wasn’t robbed. Skinner was great again.
Dan Vladar and Stewart Skinner were definitely the first two stars of this game!! Without them, this game might have been 8-6 or some other ridiculous score. Both teams had some great scoring chances!! Well done, goalies!! Cheers from New Zealand!
Couldn’t believe how much the Saddledome crowd was cheering for the Oilers the whole game through. Granted, there were nearly as many blue jerseys as red in the crowd. Wow.
Hey to all Oilers from Germany, WE DID IT, 13 in a row!!!! It was another shame from the german Sky not showing the battle of Alberta live. So my stand up at 4am was for nothing, could have a longeer breakfast with Patrick an You Tube. Firtst i wanna say that it ws a great support from Oilers fans at the Dome. Secondly a enthusiastic game by the team, Skinner becoes better each game too and nice Games from McLoad and Gagner, also a fighting goal from Hyman, love it! I am sad that i couldnt see the hole game, but Patrick's Rundown makes me smile again. Nicely done, great dresses (wanna have one too), perfect smile on your faces. Wanna see more of this live action. Cheers from cold Germany, go on OILERS, wanna see you in playoffs !!!!! Marc

Oilers have the longest winning streak of any Canadian team at 13 breaking the tie they had with the old Montreal Canadians (when I say old I mean like it was from decades ago). McLeod opened the scoring finally beating Vladar who stood on his head all game with assists from Foegele and Desharnais. Calgary tied it up in the early second period with a 3 on one by Weegar. Nothing Skinner really could have done on that, I mean 3 on 1. Defensive breakdown. Final two goals came in the 3rd (first one early, the game winner by Sam Gagner who got two bounces that somehow went in off of a Defender and Vladar, sometimes LUCK is your copilot, assists to Ceci and Holloway. Final goal of the night an empty netter he had to really WORK for by Hyman assist to Nuge. Connor's point streak ends at 12. I literally doubt he cares so long as the Oilers get the 2 points. Nada for the Powerplay. Perfect for the Penalty Kill. Not as good on the faceoff. More blocked shots by the Oilers. Way more hits by Calgary and more Giveaways. It was a good physical game. Holloway got a point (secondary assist) in his first game back. Skinner did great tying Grant Fuhr's alltime longest winning streak at 10 wins. Vladar was amazing for the Flames, this could have been a lot worse than 3-1. Most interesting (and greatest) stat, the Oilers become the first team in franchise history to allow 2 or less goals in 11 consecutive games. Take care all.

One more bit of history: Skinner ties Fuhr's franchise record for longest winstreak by a goalie with 10 in a row!
That goal by SG had to be the best trick shot ever. I know total fluke, but it reminded me of the old Jordan commercials.
Shot off the stick, back of the glove, ring the post, then nothin but net!
Love the smiles boys!
Best effort I have ever seen on an empty net goal!

It helps that we’re playing mostly non playoff teams this month.
The Oil grind it out for 60 minutes, able to take the lead and hold it for another win.
Awesome game! Witnessing history live!
I wanted to like the video but it was at 97 likes….
Hope ya boys enjoyed the game (obviously).
Sloppy game but whatever, they got it done.

Hollywood was pretty good in his return. He easily could have had two assists as well.
Skinny’s gear looked amazing Singh needs to leave the commentary to Jack Michaels, also Kane looked awesome out there
Well I'm still waiting for a trade with Campbell Broberg and Brown to happen. Needs to get done sooner than later
Hyman is a frigging animal!!

Lucky 13 baby !
LET'S GO OILERS !!!!

Nice commentary about the fans in the saddledome. Says a lot. We are all Albertans. More united than ever no matter who wins.
