Part of this recent play is definitely just the team being unlucky; pucks not bouncing their way, picking bouncing the other teams way, etc. which makes sense because we were probably pretty lucky to start the season.

I know everyone says puck luck but… maybe if you shoot wide or hit a post every shot… it’s bad aim not bad luck
It’s hilarious that so many here refuse to see that Kakko isn’t a top-line player. Mika and Kreids score plenty – they aren’t the issue. I don’t know how you can say a guy with 43pts in 44 (Mika) and 40 in 45 (Kreids) are the issue. What more do you expect them to do? They need a shooter as a RW. They don’t have that person – they have mr possession/afraid to shoot. Until we get a proper top-line RW, this train isn’t going anywhere.
This is gonna be one of those games where the rangers dominate puck possession making it seem like they’re the better team, get a bunch of low quality shots on net and lose by 2-3 goals on 17 shots against
The Canes and Flyers BOTH lost today. This is a golden opportunity to get some breathing room at the top of the Metro.
