  1. I always disliked the rule. If a goaltender wants to avoid contact then stay in the crease. Why we allow them to disrupt play skating around and handling the puck is insane.

  2. Its genuinely fascinating how seemingly every American team has a casting crew will spit in the face of common sense, logic, and history in order to try and seem like a hero to the home crowd
To try and convince me an NHL player did EVERYTHING in his power to not make contact when absolutely nothing was in his way to the net is just down right disrespectful lmao

Maybe they dont realize the average Canadian actually has a brain?

  3. That was quite exaggerated! I'm not a fan of either but that is sold HARD by flower. And a suspension?!?! Wow

  4. Pretty innocent, but he could have slid by better. His shoulders were still pretty square. That said, fleury played it up some to and being old school, he probably really didn't mind. He is out of the crease and should be fair game. But like an NFL qb, to some, some people can not be touched.

  5. Lockwood's shown up a couple times now in the past couple months for questionable stuff. He made contact with Fleury's head here, looks to me like he went high speed and put his shoulder in to Fleury's head, probably could have stopped or slowed down reasonably.

If this went to DoPS, clearly the refs calling something was correct, because an actual NHL Goon runs DoPS, and likely erred in favor of Lockwood.

  6. I mean. All professional hockey players know not to touch the goalie. He coulda held up but anyways a free powerplay for the wild. But a 3 game suspension is pretty dumb

  7. he didnt have to try and get himself between fleury and the boards, despite what those homer annocers are crying about. It would have been much more beneficial for him to stop against the boards and try to actually play the puck instead of flying through a goaltenders head, who is actually playing the puck and has his back turned and cant see someone crashing towards him. Easily avoidable, definetly suspension worthy.

  8. Panthers are a dirty dirty team and should be cancelled. How long before they end someone’s career? Bloody horrible team.
