Was at the game with seats in our D zone for 2 periods.
Sammy looked really sharp live – phenomenal reaction, not getting discombobulated with traffic at the neouyh, and a few dynamite saves in the second and third periods to cease Seattle’s momentum.
Really solid performance from Sammy – and the team in front of him. They were playing solid D and really only got hemmed in once or twice, the rest of the time clearing and controlling the puck into and through neutral zone.
Good team win, and Sammy was arguably the biggest part of that.

Culturally, Russians do not generally smile. You will see group photos of astronauts where the Americans are smiling and the Russians are stoned face.

The team played so cautious in the 3rd to protect that lead. It’s good but you can’t hold his hands forever. I hope he he’s at least one of the Jets game and regularly after to get hi mojo back.

Thankfully they kept the shots to a minimum and the quality shots even moreso. Ease him back in. He looked good in the Detroit game and even better in Seattle. During his issues he was noticable off. He would slide way to far missing his posts he made stupid errors. Tonight he was on point. Nailing the slides and tracking the puck beautifully. Seeing Willy rush right to to him after the game was great. He needed the praise. Glad you are back Sammy
