That’s awesome Bubbles is going to be a captain! I hope Ricky and Julian are there too! I can’t stand that Justin kid. His music stinks and his antics from when he was young made me not like his character.
For Isles fans the quicker we can get the Roy coronation over with…the faster we can get Lamoriello back into his cryochamber. The more time that fossil stays conscious the greater the risk of him trying to re-up Ken Daneyko and Scott Stevens.
The horrific plane crash that killed Demitra and his teammates was such an awful tragedy. He was a great player. His short time with the Canucks was solid, and he was often seen around town, talking to fans, having a good time. I'm very happy the Blues have honored his memory. Great player.

The oilers took Adam Erne and James Hmablin out of the line up and brought in Gagner and Holloway for the Flames game and it only helped them. I'm not concerned about a chemistry issue, my main concern is that he'll take #94 which should be retired by Ryan Smyth.

Went to college with Mike Liut and followed him in the NHL. Great guy.
Have to mention that while with the Blues, Mike Liut had one of the greatest goalie masks of all time.
I was listening to the Blues -Caps on radio yesterday and someone recalled a time when a few players were going to visit sick children in hospital and Pavel Demitra asked why they hadn't included him, he wanted to go, too.
Will Roy refrain from suggesting some younger players at some point..it’s an older group and he’s been coaching younger players in more recent times..
Interview introducing him he seems really happy to be the hire with Isles..so wishing Roy a great time there.
That said it is the fanbase he says he aims to bring a winning brand to..hard to imagine him standing pat on things over time..with Lou or any GM..he just likes to drive things..
This clearly makes Edmonton a cup favorite.
What I know about Tate McRae is that she's hot.

The Tate McRae choice was…. very interesting. She’s from Calgary and apparently dated Cole Sillinger for a year or so. Rumours are that he cheated on her (I don’t know nor do I care if that’s true) but then Tate starts doing tons of promos with the NHL. Starts wearing jerseys for all her concerts, and makes a hockey themed music video and album cover. Tbh, I wouldn’t be surprised if the all-star captaincy is just another marketing/promo thing in the NHL’s contract with her. But yea, such drama 😂

I thought of landing perry around the same time he got the foot from Chicago. Great signing. We need some experience around our young players. He looked very good in Chicago the few games he played. I wonder where they will put him he would fit in most lines.
I just realised why the Islanders hired Patrick Roy. No-one in the NHL seemed to remember him. But since Fleury just passed Roy in wins, Roy too was kinda on everyone's lips for a moment. And I'm pretty sure that's what lead to Lou's epiphany… hey let's get Roy behind the bench! At least a theory!!
Why would anyone want to coach for Lou unless one needs the money? Plus NYI are on the verge of being a lottery team in a year or so. As Roy made almost 60 mill playing, he is probably fine. Almost every coach Lou hires gets the axe in 6-18 months. Plus he had to surrender his dignity to Lou, and shave his beard. Pathetic.
