Lines at practice 1/22 AM



I have absolutely had it with Lindy Ruff.

I couldn’t be happier with the development he’s done with Bratt, Jack, Mercer, and even Luke and Nemec making less mistakes than I expected. Lindy is not the guy to take this team to the next level and everyone needs to see it just from this lineup.

Toffoli has been trash for almost two whole months and should be traded at the deadline. He does cardio out there 9/10 games. Alex Holtz should be in his spot and at this point, there’s no debating it. He’s our best 5v5 goalscorer currently playing, yet gets linemates like Bastian, Lazar, Tierney, and Willman. Thats bullshit.

We need what Bednar was for COL. A coach to take the team from the developmental stages, to the cup stages and Lindy is not that guy.

    Finally switching up the Nemec and Marino line which has been awful. Surprised Miller is being swapped out for Hatakka.

    Lindy’s only strategy is line blending. Nothing else.

    Finally changes the top two lines in the second half of the third period against Dallas and Timo scores with Nico and Jesper assists and Toff scores on McLeod and Dawson’s line and so that’s that.

    No other changes needed apparently. Won’t even let Holtz see the top nine let alone give him a shot with all the injuries in the top six.

    Is that really all that coaching is?

    Thankfully, he’s finally done something and put Marino back on his natural side instead of forcing him to play the side he doesn’t play. Nemo and Marino have been brutal in the Habs game and the Dallas game.

    PP2: Merce, Toff, Holtz, Haula, and Nemo

    Miller scratched over garbage ass Foote who took 2 penalties last game, Meier still on wrong wing, Holtz still on line 4, Vitek starting

    Toffoli has been looking rough. But his upside is high he’s a solid goal scorer. He just needs Jack back. People play bad for a month or two and we want to send them away as quickly as possible.

    I will never understand why ruff refuses to elevate holtz above the fourth line 🤦🏼‍♂️
